STORMLENSE™  ·  PATENT PENDING  ·  ARRIVING 2027

THE DEVICE
THAT SETTLES
THE CLAIM.

A precision instrument built for the roof. Not a drone. Not a desktop tool. StormLense™ goes where the damage is, captures what no one can argue with, and delivers one thing: the truth about what happened on that shingle.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Built for the Field.
Not the Boardroom.

Form Factor
Circular Enclosure
Handheld. Designed for one-handed field operation on a telescoping pole. Camera module positioned at the bottom, hovering directly over the test square.
Processing
Edge + Cloud
Custom SoC with NPU for edge processing at the point of capture. Hybrid edge-cloud architecture covered by patent. Works in low-connectivity field conditions.
Imaging
Calibrated
Precision calibrated imagery of asphalt shingles on a standard 100 sq ft test square. Consistent, reproducible captures regardless of operator experience.
Weather Correlation
NOAA-Linked
Every inspection anchors to GPS coordinates and cross-references NOAA weather records for the date and location of the event in question.
Output
Tamper-Resistant
Causation determination report: confirmed or denied. Documented chain of evidence. Designed to hold at the appraisal table and in litigation.
Integration
API-Ready
Built for insertion into existing carrier claims workflows via API. Designed to enter at first inspection, not after the dispute has started.

HOW IT WORKS

Four Steps.
One Determination.

STEP 01  ·  DEPLOY
On the Roof

The adjuster or contractor positions StormLense™ on a telescoping pole over the standard test square. Camera module at the bottom. Evidence at the source.

STEP 02  ·  CAPTURE
Calibrated Imagery

The device captures calibrated shingle imagery. GPS coordinate and timestamp are locked automatically. No manual entry. No interpretation. Physical evidence, documented.

STEP 03  ·  CORRELATE
NOAA Verification

Field data is cross-referenced with NOAA weather records for that location and date. The atmospheric record and the physical evidence are locked together.

STEP 04  ·  DETERMINE
The Verdict

The HAILLISTICS™ platform delivers a causation determination. Confirmed or denied. Tamper-resistant. Documented. The kind of finding that does not fall apart under cross-examination.

IN THE FIELD

On the Roof.
At the Shingle.
Before the Argument.

StormLense™ is designed for the person who climbs the ladder. The adjuster doing the inspection. The contractor documenting the damage. The public adjuster building the case.

Heavy-duty telescoping pole. Circular enclosure. Camera module at the bottom, positioned directly over the test square. The operator looks down from above. The device captures what cannot be disputed.

No interpretation required. No subjectivity. The evidence is on the shingle. StormLense™ puts it in a format that holds.

HOW IT COMPARES

Every Tool Has a Job.
Only One Settles Causation.

Tool What It Does Causation Determination Physical Evidence Tamper-Resistant
HAAG Methodology Inspection protocol and certification standard Inspector decides Yes No
Xactimate / Verisk Claim pricing and estimating Not in scope No No
Aerial / Drone Imagery Pre-inspection screening and event mapping No Above-roof only No
Desktop Review Tools Remote damage assessment from existing imagery Estimate only No No
StormLense™ On-roof causation determination with NOAA correlation Yes. Confirmed or denied. Yes. On the shingle. Yes. By design.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What People Ask.

Does StormLense™ replace the HAAG methodology?

No. HAAG tells you where to look and how to inspect. StormLense™ tells you what the answer is. They are not competing. StormLense™ is what HAAG methodology has always pointed toward: an objective, defensible determination at the point of inspection.

How is this different from aerial inspection tools?

Aerial tools work from above. StormLense™ works from the roof. Physical evidence at the point of impact on the shingle cannot be captured from the air or from a screen. The causation determination requires contact with the evidence.

Will the output integrate with Xactimate?

StormLense™ is designed with API integration in mind. The causation determination is built to insert into existing carrier claims workflows at the point of first inspection, including integration with downstream estimating platforms. Full integration roadmap will be defined with our founding carrier partners.

When does it launch?

StormLense™ is arriving for the 2027 hail season. We are selecting field partners now. Early partners shape the device, shape the model, and get first access.

What does "tamper-resistant" mean?

The causation report is designed so that the chain of evidence from field capture to final determination cannot be altered after the fact. GPS, timestamp, NOAA correlation, and calibrated imagery are locked together at the point of capture. The output is what the device recorded, not what anyone wrote down afterward.

THE 2027 HAIL
SEASON IS THE
DEADLINE.

Early field partners shape what StormLense™ becomes. They bring roof damage data. They walk into 2027 with a tool the rest of the industry does not have yet.
